This was my absolute favorite Airbnb. We all loved it. It is up-to-date, cottagey and cozy. It has modern appliances, comfortable furniture, it is incredibly decorated, & has an extremely well equipped kitchen. Living area is spacious. Lots of windows. The location...amazing...close to restaurants, shopping and water. We highly recommend the golf cart!The private suite is extremely spacious and comfortable. The other bedrooms located in the house are smaller but also comfortable. The one thing that is unique are the bathrooms in the main house. The one bathroom has a toilet & sink. The other bathroom has a toilet & shower (no sink). And the room with the bunk beds has a tiny sink. Adam & Nikki were amazing hosts....always quick to respond and so incredibly friendly & personable. Our stay at Adam’s Balboa Island property was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed home that truly felt like a getaway.The location is unbeatable—just steps from the waterfront with stunning views and easy access to all the charm of Balboa Island. We loved strolling along Marine Avenue, exploring the boutique shops, and indulging in the famous Balboa Bars.Inside, the home was immaculate and beautifully decorated with a cozy yet modern coastal vibe. The amenities were top-notch, from the well-stocked kitchen to the plush, comfortable beds. Every detail had been considered, ensuring a seamless and relaxing experience.Adam was an exceptional host—responsive, kind, and always willing to offer recommendations. The beach cottage was super terrific !!!! There are literally too many great things to say, but here are a few.It is gorgeous, the renovation workmanship is fabulous- the bathroom tile, floors, attention to detail are all top of the line. It is decorated beautifully. The bedding, bath products, kitchen equipment are excellent. The extra's that come with the home like bikes, golf cart, scooter, SUPs and more are phenomenal and usually come with a rental fee- but NOT here :) Adam, the host was awesome and communicated every step of the way !!
